The idol group EXO is set to resume full team activities after a break of about two years. With all members having completed their military service, they are preparing for a new leap starting with a year-end fan meeting.

SM Entertainment announced on the 27th that EXO will hold a fan meeting 'EXO'verse' at Incheon Inspire Arena from December 13 to 14. They also revealed that a regular 8th album is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of next year.

The resumption of EXO's team activities comes about two years after the release of their regular 7th album 'EXIST' in 2023.

This fan meeting and regular album activities will feature six members: Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Lay. However, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, who are currently involved in a lawsuit regarding contract fulfillment and settlement claims with SM Entertainment, will be excluded.

At the fan meeting, hit stages including the representative song 'First Snow' will be performed, along with the first public reveal of tracks from the new album. It is expected to be a special stage for fans after a long wait.

EXO entered a period of inactivity starting in 2019 when Xiumin and D.O. enlisted, with members subsequently entering military service. All members have completed their military service as of last September when Sehun was discharged.
