Ahn Hyo-seop Wins the Beautiful Artist Award 'Rookie Artist Award'! Donates Entire Prize Money

Actor Ahn Hyo-seop won the 'Rookie Artist Award' at the 15th Beautiful Artist Awards. His agency, The Present Company, announced the news of his award, stating, "Actor Ahn Hyo-seop has decided to donate the entire prize money of 20 million won," adding to the intention of spreading social good influence.

The award ceremony, hosted by the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation (Chairman Ahn Sung-ki), took place on October 23 at Stage 28 in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The Beautiful Artist Award was established in 2011 with the foundation's founding and is a meaningful event that honors artists who enhance the value of art and convey social good influence in the fields of film, theater, contributions, philanthropy, and newcomers at the end of each year.

This year, Ahn Hyo-seop, who has been actively working in dramas, films, and on the global stage, received the Rookie Artist Award. The judging committee praised him, stating, "Ahn Hyo-seop, who has steadily honed his acting skills through TV dramas, played the lead role of Kim Dok-ja in his first film 'All-Rounder' and received acclaim from audiences and critics for his dense acting and delicate emotional lines. Recently, he gained attention from global viewers through his voice acting as 'Jin-woo' in the Netflix global animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', being recognized as a new face representing Korean content on the global stage," highlighting his growth and authenticity.

In his acceptance speech, Ahn Hyo-seop said, "The films I participated in, 'All-Rounder' and 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', tell completely different stories. However, I felt that they are ultimately connected through the same language of sincerity." He added, "I still don’t know well, but I believe that acting is a way to understand the world and to live to the best of my ability, even if it’s not perfect, through someone’s pain, joy, and countless emotions. I felt that in that process, a sincere heart transcends language. I think this award is a warm pat on the back that allows me to continue that heart."

Ahn Hyo-seop has solidified his position as a 'global trend' by showcasing an unlimited acting spectrum. He is also expected to return to the romantic comedy genre in his upcoming project 'Sold Out Again', scheduled to air in 2026, hinting at a new transformation that draws attention.
