Actor Lee Jang-woo has become a topic of discussion by revealing why he is not paying attention to dieting even as he approaches marriage. On the 26th, a video titled 'Going to Noryangjin Fish Market with Jang-woo to Try 10 Seasonal Foods' was posted on actor Lee Joo-seung's YouTube channel.

While eating sashimi with Lee Joo-seung, Lee Jang-woo shared his honest thoughts on his acting philosophy and dieting. He commented, "Joo-seung acts well, but my acting skills are far behind his," adding, "Joo-seung is someone who lives off the soul of an artist, while I am someone who lives off food."

He continued, "I felt like I was forcing myself to manage my appearance," and emphasized, "Of course, I gained popularity and lived a happy life based on my looks in my 20s, but this is not it. I thought it would be too empty to hold onto something that is not real later on."

Lee Jang-woo previously lost 22kg in three months from a weight of 108kg, achieving 86kg. He revealed his successful dieting appearance for a body profile shoot in the 2024 MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone.' At that time, he started running at the suggestion of Kian 84 and followed a strict diet plan.

He particularly mentioned that breaking his late-night snack habit was the hardest part, saying, "When I was too hungry, I endured by eating tomatoes," revealing his dieting secret. After running, he suppressed his appetite by drinking CCA juice made from carrots, cabbage, and apples.

However, after successfully dieting, Lee Jang-woo experienced a yo-yo effect and returned to his original weight. Nevertheless, he stated, "I will give up handsomeness and now live my life," expressing his determination to follow his own path.

Lee Jang-woo has been in a relationship with actress Jo Hye-won, whom he met while co-starring in the 2018 KBS2 drama 'My Only One,' for 7 years. The two officially acknowledged their relationship in 2023 and are set to hold their wedding on November 23 at a location in Seoul. In a past interview, Lee Jang-woo mentioned, "My father, born in 1939, is urging me to get married quickly," and expressed his desire to get married and have many children.
