Seol Woon-do's Son Lee Seung-hyun Reveals Celebrity Gathering at His Mother's Cafe in Hannam-dong

Trot singer Seol Woon-do's son Lee Seung-hyun (stage name Lumin) has made headlines after a gathering with celebrity acquaintances at his mother's cafe in Hannam-dong. Stylist Kim Woo-ri recently shared on his social media a photo of himself with Lee Seung-hyun and Kim Sang-hyuk, a former member of Click-B, in Hannam-dong.

In the post, Kim Woo-ri wrote, "I was with good people at the cafe run by Mr. Lee Seung-hyun's mother," and added, "I’m feeling the energy of the landlord's son," which caught attention. The published photos show them chatting in a relaxed atmosphere.

Seol Woon-do's wife, Lee Soo-jin, is a versatile figure who is a former actress and has written lyrics for most of Seol Woon-do's hit songs. His daughter, Lee Seung-ah, is known to have opened and is currently running a cafe in Hannam-dong since 2022. At that time, Lee Seung-ah expressed on her Instagram, "Thank you for all the love and support since the opening. I will work hard without losing my original intention."

The eldest son, Lee Seung-hyun, debuted in 2010 as a member of the four-member group F.cuz. His real name is Lee Seung-hyun, and he initially performed under the stage name Lee Yu-ro before leaving the group in 2011 to pursue musical theater and songwriting. In 2013, he joined a six-member group called Empire as the main vocalist under the stage name Lumin.

Lee Seung-hyun candidly revealed on a past show, "I was embarrassed when my father sang trot music when I was young." He shared, "During my teenage years, when idol dance groups like H.O.T and Sechs Kies were at their peak, I was endlessly embarrassed by my father singing adult songs," and confessed, "That’s why I disliked the trot genre itself."

However, he stated, "As I learned more about music and matured, and saw my friends singing my father's songs at karaoke, I became prouder of my father's music than any other music," conveying his affectionate feelings towards his father.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung-hyun participated in MBN's 'Burning Trotman' in 2023, challenging the stage where Seol Woon-do was a judge. At that time, Seol Woon-do made headlines by giving a cold evaluation to his son, saying, "You are just mimicking trot without understanding it."
