Ma Dong-seok, Debuts First Variety Show 'I Am Boxer' After 4 Years of Marriage... "A Stage I've Dreamed of for a Long Time"

Global Action Star Ma Dong-seok will appear in his first solo variety program tvN 'I Am Boxer'. This massive boxing survival show is set to premiere on November 21.

'I Am Boxer' is a blockbuster-level survival show designed by Ma Dong-seok, who has 30 years of boxing experience, having participated directly from the initial planning stages to revive K-boxing. Ma Dong-seok is so serious about boxing that he is actually the director of a boxing gym and serves as the honorary vice president of the Korea Boxing Association. In the program, he will lead the participants' challenges as a 'master'.

In the released teaser video, Ma Dong-seok expressed his excitement for the boxers' survival, stating, "I have dreamed of this stage for a long time". The teaser featured famous participants such as Jang Hyuk, Julien Kang, and Yook Jun-seo showcasing their passion and determination in the ring, adding to the excitement.

MC will be veteran entertainer Kim Jong-kook and trending broadcaster Dex. The two MCs are expected to immerse themselves in the boxers' matches with serious analysis and passionate support.

In particular, this program is produced by 'Steel Troops' PD Lee Won-woong and 'Physical: 100' writer Kang Suk-kyung, enhancing its quality. The final stage is set to take place at 'The Holy Land of Boxing' MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, USA, which is drawing significant attention for its unprecedented scale for a domestic variety show.

Ma Dong-seok stated, "Boxing is life itself" and expressed his desire to support all boxers and showcase the beauty of boxing. His company, Big Punch Sports, is also participating in the production and promotion.

Meanwhile, Ma Dong-seok became legally married to actress Yeo Jeong-hwa through a marriage registration in 2021, and they are set to hold their wedding in May 2024. 'I Am Boxer' will be available to domestic viewers through tvN and TVING, and will meet global audiences through Disney+ after broadcasting.
