G-DRAGON to Meet Leaders from 21 Countries at APEC Welcome Dinner Performance

G-DRAGON (hereafter referred to as G-DRAGON) will take the stage at the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit welcome dinner cultural performance. Serving as the ambassador for the APEC summit, G-DRAGON will perform at the welcome dinner on the evening of the 31st at the Grand Ballroom of the Gyeongju Lahan Hotel, attended by leaders and high-ranking officials from 21 countries. As the only K-pop artist to stand on this stage, G-DRAGON is expected to elevate South Korea's cultural status and contribute to the successful hosting of the event through an innovative and creative performance.

G-DRAGON, who has established himself as a 'cultural icon' leading the way in various fields beyond K-pop, including fashion, art, and science and technology, was appointed as the ambassador for the APEC summit in July. In particular, the promotional video featuring G-DRAGON has become a hot topic, receiving over 17 million views as of the 27th, with evaluations stating it has "opened a new horizon for international event promotion." It is known that G-DRAGON showed enthusiasm by participating in the filming of the promotional video while juggling a busy schedule of his world tour in the United States, traveling back and forth between Korea and the U.S.

The APEC summit preparation planning team stated, "G-DRAGON, who has global influence, was appointed as an ambassador because he is the ideal person to effectively convey the values of connection and sustainability that APEC aims for, both domestically and internationally," adding, "We expect him to showcase an outstanding performance at the welcome dinner as well."

Meanwhile, G-DRAGON, who has been delivering future-oriented messages while crossing the boundaries of art and science and technology, has successfully completed performances in major cities in the U.S. such as Newark, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, as well as in Paris, France, after starting in Korea and traveling through Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, Macau, Sydney, Melbourne, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Hong Kong, proving his global popularity. He will continue his third world tour, 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]', in Taipei and Hanoi in November, and in Seoul in December, following performances in Osaka on the 20th and 21st.
