NCT Doyoung and Jungwoo to Enlist Together on December 8...Expected to Serve in the Army and Military Band

NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo are set to enlist in the military on December 8, as officially announced by their agency.

SM Entertainment announced on the 30th through the fan community Weverse that "Doyoung will undergo basic military training at the training center starting December 8 and will fulfill his duty as an active-duty soldier in the Army." It further stated, "Jungwoo will also enlist on the same day, undergo basic military training, and fulfill his duty in the Army's military band."

There will be no separate events on the day of the members' enlistment. SM Entertainment requested, "As it is a gathering of many military personnel and their families, we ask fans to refrain from visiting the site for safety reasons."

Doyoung debuted as a member of NCT in 2016, while Jungwoo debuted in 2018. The two have also been active as members of the NCT unit group 'NCT Dojaejung' and have worked together closely.
