'Run to the West' PART1 Wins Award at London Asian Film Festival

〈Run to the West〉 PART1 has successfully won an award at the London Asian Film Festival.

Released on October 15, 〈Run to the West〉 PART1 is Korea's first feature film utilizing AI, a chase action blockbuster about people trapped in the 'intermediate realm' between life and death and the grim reapers trying to extinguish their souls. The London Asian Film Festival, representing Asia's creative and challenging works from various countries, awarded 〈Run to the West〉 PART1 with the 'Future of Asian Cinema Award'.

The jury stated, "Director Kang Yoon-sung's 〈Run to the West〉 PART1 fully incorporates AI technology, recreating the boundary between life and death into a fantastic metropolis, marking Korea's first attempt. LEAFF (London Asian Film Festival) is confident that this pioneering vision will open a new horizon for Asian cinema, and in celebration of its 10th anniversary, awards Director Kang Yoon-sung with the 'Future of Asian Cinema Award.'"

Having met audiences through a CGV exclusive release, 〈Run to the West PART1 will be available on online and mobile platforms such as SK Btv, LG U+tv, Homechoice, KT Skylife, Coupang Play, Webhard, Google Play Store, Cinefox, Wavve, and Watcha starting November 5.
