The band Jaurim is returning to fans on the 9th with the announcement of their new regular album 'Life!(LIFE!)' after 4 years. This album is expected to showcase a new side of Jaurim that expresses emotions more directly, moving beyond their previous contemplative approach.

On the 5th, Jaurim held a music appreciation meeting for fans at the Gureumarae Small Theater in Mapo-gu, Seoul, introducing their new album 'Life!'. Member Kim Yoon-a stated, "'Life!' is an album that seems to shout 'Oh life!'. It became an opportunity to share that Jaurim also expresses anger, shouts loudly, and cries out that they can't live anymore."

'Life!' is Jaurim's 12th regular album, capturing various emotions such as moments of war in life and love. The album includes a total of 10 tracks, featuring the triple title songs 'Life!', 'My Girl', and 'Stars'.

The songs revealed at the music appreciation meeting left a strong impression. 'Life!' stood out with lyrics that sing about the chaos of life and a lively rock sound, while 'My Girl' left a strong impression with its rough guitar solo. 'Athena' starts with a brass fanfare, evoking a hopeful atmosphere.

Kim Yoon-a described 'Life!' as a song born from a recent burnout state while working on music, saying, "It feels like I'm dancing on stage, but in reality, I'm struggling. I believe that people living in the present share similar thoughts with me."

Bassist Kim Jin-man added, "We often expressed our desire to quickly share the album's tracks live with the members, as they are songs that will sound even better live."

The members of Jaurim shared that they had a special experience recording the album track 'Vampire' at Abbey Road Studio, a historic recording studio in the UK. Abbey Road Studio is where famous artists like The Beatles, Queen, and Oasis have worked on their albums.

Kim Yoon-a said, "Seeing that they had 20 hard-to-find high-end microphones made me think that the main house is indeed different," and shared a happening where, while recording 'Vampire', two microphones broke down while I was singing, so I had to use a total of 3 microphones."

Since their first album 'Purple Heart' in 1997, Jaurim has been consistently active since their debut and is approaching their 30th anniversary. Regarding their feelings about reaching the 30th anniversary, the members showed a humble attitude, saying, "It is still early to feel something." Kim Yoon-a stated, "Since I often meet seniors while working, I feel that it is still insufficient to present a business card for 30 years," and "I will continue to work hard even as we celebrate our 30th anniversary."
