
American Cinematheque is holding a retrospective of director Park Chan-wook, who returns with 〈No Other Choice〉.
LA American Cinematheque, which was established in 1984, is a historic cinema that plans retrospectives and small film festivals, covering a wide range of works from classic films to diverse cinema. American Cinematheque announced that from November 16 to December 6, it will hold a retrospective of director Park Chan-wook, screening his new film 〈No Other Choice〉, as well as 〈Joint Security Area JSA〉, 〈Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance〉, 〈Oldboy〉, 〈Sympathy for Lady Vengeance〉, and 〈The Handmaiden〉.
This retrospective has garnered more attention as it is reported that director Park Chan-wook and Lee Byung-hun will attend in person for a Q&A session with the audience. After the screening of 〈No Other Choice〉 on November 16, and after the screening of 〈Joint Security Area JSA〉 on December 6, the two will meet with the audience.
〈No Other Choice〉 has been meeting audiences with long screenings since its release on September 24.
