'No Other Choice' Director Park Chan-wook Wins International Auteur Award at SCAD Savannah Film Festival

Director Park Chan-wook continues his award-winning journey at international film festivals.

On the 25th (local time), at the opening of the 28th SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Director Park Chan-wook received the International Auteur Award. The SCAD Savannah Film Festival, held in Georgia, USA, is the largest university-run film festival in the world, showcasing a wide spectrum of works from student films to commercial and independent films. The International Auteur Award is presented to individuals who have established a unique artistic world and presented a special vision in the global film industry, and Director Park Chan-wook has once again proven his status in the global film industry by sharing the honor with notable figures such as actors Brendan Fraser, Amanda Seyfried, and Kristen Stewart.

The film 〈No Other Choice〉 tells the story of an office worker, 'Mansu' (Lee Byung-hun), who feels satisfied with life until he is suddenly fired. To protect his wife and two children and to keep the house he worked hard to acquire, he prepares for his own war towards re-employment. The film is currently showing in theaters nationwide.
