MBC Radio announced that it will broadcast a special documentary on the 60th anniversary of Korea-Japan diplomatic relations, titled 〈Singing with a Heart for the Stars〉, narrated by actor Park Bo-gum, next month.
This special program will air on November 1st from 8:05 PM to 9:00 PM for 55 minutes on MBC Radio. The documentary highlights the life and literary world of poet Yun Dong-ju, marking the 80th anniversary of his passing this year.
The core content of the program covers the unveiling ceremony of the Yun Dong-ju statue held at Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan, on the 11th. The establishment of his statue at Rikkyo University, his alma mater, holds significant historical meaning.
The documentary includes interviews with Kim Eung-gyo, a leading authority on Yun Dong-ju research and a professor at Sookmyung Women's University, and director Lee Joon-ik, who directed the film 〈Dong-ju〉. Additionally, contemporary authors such as Gong Ji-young, Kim Ae-ran, Park Jun, and Sung Hae-na, who are actively engaged in the literary world, testify to their affection for poet Yun Dong-ju and his literary influence.
Park Bo-gum, who is responsible for the narration, is known to have a special affection for poet Yun Dong-ju.
