EJAE, Nominated for Grammy Award: "An Honor Beyond Imagination"

Singer and composer EJAE expressed his excitement upon being nominated for the main award at the 68th Grammy Awards.

On the 8th, EJAE shared on his Instagram, "I can't think of an adjective to describe how I feel right now," and added, "The fact that I am nominated for Grammy 'Song of the Year' is beyond anything I imagined. It's an understatement to say it's something I've dreamed of," he stated.

According to the list of nominees announced on the 7th (local time), the song 'Golden' from the Netflix animated film 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 is nominated for the main award in the 'Song of the Year' category. This song achieved the remarkable feat of being nominated in a total of 5 categories.

EJAE participated in the singing as the character Lumi, a member of the girl group Huntress, and also contributed to the lyrics and composition of 'Golden'. He expressed gratitude, saying, "It would have been impossible without the fans who loved the movie," and thanked everyone who sang the song with him, including Ray Ami (Joy's part) and Audrey Nuna (Mira's part).

Ray Ami and Audrey Nuna also shared their feelings on Instagram.

Ray Ami stated, "It’s truly an honor to be part of this journey," and expressed, "The Huntress girls are going global." Audrey Nuna also mentioned EJAE and Ray Ami, posting a message saying, "See you at the Grammys."

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's Rosé has been nominated in 3 categories, including 'Song of the Year' and 'Record of the Year' for her hit song 'Apartment' (APT.). Rosé shared a video during the announcement of the nominees, showing her excitement as 'Apartment' was called last.

Following that, the global girl group KATSEYE, under HYBE, was also nominated in 2 categories, including 'Best New Artist'. KATSEYE stated through their official SNS, "I can't believe we are nominated in 2 categories," and added, "It’s truly an honor, and we congratulate all the nominees."
