Han Hye-jin YouTube Hacking Incident... Channel with 860,000 Subscribers Deleted After Coin Broadcast

Model Han Hye-jin has suffered a hacking incident on her YouTube channel, resulting in the deletion of her channel with 860,000 subscribers. The hacker used the channel to broadcast a live stream related to coins.

Channel Inaccessible After Unusual 'Coin Live'

On the morning of the 10th, a live stream titled 'Ripple (XRP): CEO Brad Garlinghouse's Growth Prediction' was suddenly broadcast on Han Hye-jin's YouTube channel 'Han Hye-jin', which has about 860,000 subscribers. The content was completely different from her usual vlogs sharing fashion and daily life.

As the broadcast went public, subscribers reacted with comments like "It seems like hacking" and "I hope there are no damages." Afterward, Han Hye-jin's YouTube channel became inaccessible with a message stating 'The channel was deleted for violating YouTube Community Guidelines'.

Han Hye-jin announced the incident through her social media, stating "I found out around 8 AM today through contacts from the production team and those around me".

She clarified, "The broadcast is unrelated to me or the channel production team" and stated "I have officially submitted an appeal to YouTube and have taken all possible measures for the prompt recovery of the channel". She added, "I sincerely hope that no one was harmed through that broadcast."

"I have planned and created each piece of content with love, so I am very upset and shocked" as she apologized to her fans.

Warning on Hacking of Major YouTubers

Such hacking incidents of major YouTube channels are occurring due to criminal groups aiming for financial gain. Previously, YouTube accounts of Starship Entertainment, Lee Seung-gi, Taemin, and others have suffered similar damages, and actress Kim Sung-eun successfully restored her channel about 7 days after a similar incident.
