
Legendary actors representing Asia will join as presenters at the global K-POP awards '2025 MAMA AWARDS'.
On the 18th, CJ ENM announced that Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh and actor Chow Yun Fat, who made Hong Kong noir a global genre, will join the presenter lineup for the '2025 MAMA AWARDS'. Michelle Yeoh will take the stage as a Chapter 1 global presenter, while Chow Yun Fat will appear as a Chapter 2 global presenter.
Michelle Yeoh made history in Hollywood by becoming the first Asian actress to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in 〈Everything Everywhere All at Once〉. Chow Yun Fat is a legendary actor who led the golden age of Hong Kong cinema through films like 〈Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon〉 and 〈A Better Tomorrow〉.
A CJ ENM representative stated, "The attendance of iconic figures of Asian culture and beloved actors Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun Fat will create a special connection that transcends the boundaries of K-POP and K-content genres." Previously, the '2025 MAMA AWARDS' announced a total of 27 presenters, including actors such as Go Yoon-jung, Park Hyung-sik, Ahn Eun-jin, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Kwang-soo, Lee Do-hyun, Im Si-wan, Jeon Yeo-been, Ju Ji-hoon, and Jo Yu-ri, who have expanded K-content globally.
The '2025 MAMA AWARDS' will be held on November 28 and 29 at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. It will be broadcast live worldwide through various digital platforms, including Mnet Plus.
