Hybe's Latin boy group Santos Bravos (SANTOS BRAVOS) shared their debut feelings.

Santos Bravos (Drew, Alejandro, Kauê, Gabi, Kenneth) is a five-member boy group formed through a reality series that aired from August to October. Santos Bravos decorated their debut stage with a concert of 10,000 seats, and all tickets were sold out.

Santos Bravos is referred to as an 'idol type' that is different from the winning team Musza of Hybe Latin America's other band audition program 'Pase a la Fama'. They are evaluated to have unique and fresh music that combines the optimistic energy and emotions unique to Latin culture with the K-Pop production system.

The following is a Q&A with Santos Bravos.

Q. What was the first emotion you felt at the moment of your debut?

Alejandro: I was very grateful. I thought of my family and everyone who believed in me before this dream came true.

Gabi: I couldn't hide my excitement, it felt like electricity coursing through me. I just wanted to get on stage quickly.

Kauê: I was nervous, but it felt good. I felt a sense of responsibility representing something bigger and more important than myself.

Drew: Honestly, the biggest feeling was relief. We all worked really hard for this one dream, and finally, everything was completed.

Kenneth: I was proud of not just myself but of us as a group, and that we would write a new history for Latin music.

Q. The 'Santos Bravos' series was not just a competition but a process of growth. What do you feel has changed the most about yourself during that journey?

Alejandro: I gained confidence. I used to doubt myself every time I stood on stage, but I learned not to do that.

Gabi: I learned how to maintain discipline. The systematic schedule pushed me beyond my own limits.

Kauê: I realized that I am both weak and strong at the same time.

Drew: I discovered that I have leadership. I learned that I have the ability to distinguish between moments to support from behind and moments to step forward, not just being the loudest voice.

Kenneth: I became someone who listens to and accepts others' opinions better. My ears opened to listening to music, and I also became more receptive to the stories of our coaches and members.

Q. After fierce competition, you finally debuted. Is there a moment that stands out in your memory?

Santos Bravos: We are like brothers. It's hard to pick just one moment because we shared both tough and happy moments together. However, the nights we stayed up rehearsing until sunrise are probably unforgettable. We encouraged and supported each other. When I see the members beside me on stage, I feel that I am not alone.

Q. Before joining 'Santos Bravos', how much did you know about K-Pop?

Santos Bravos: Debuting in Hybe Latin America felt like a dream that was too good to be true. I have always admired the high level of K-Pop performances, and I never imagined I could be a part of that as a Latin group.

Q. You experienced meticulous and systematic K-Pop training firsthand. How do you think it differs from the training processes you had before, and what advantages do you see?

Santos Bravos: Not missing even the smallest details. Every gesture and gaze has meaning. The effort to practice not just until it is satisfactory but until it is perfect is a significant characteristic of K-Pop training. Emphasizing teamwork is also part of that.

Q. What was the reason for choosing the audition at Hybe Latin America, and what did you expect?

Santos Bravos: I couldn't miss the opportunity to be part of something historic. I wanted to test myself in a place with the highest standards. Also, I believed in Hybe Latin America's vision of bringing Latin roots to the global market.

Q. 'Santos Bravos' was created under the grammar of K-Pop, but at the same time, it was born in the Latin music market, so it has characteristics that are completely different from K-Pop. What are the unique points and strengths of 'Santos Bravos' compared to existing artists?

Santos Bravos: While we embody the dance and singing that match the perfection of K-Pop, the stories we want to convey come from Latin traditions. Our diversity is also an important characteristic. We are a group born to connect different worlds, made up of members from various cultures and languages.

Q. What kind of music do you want to share in the future with 'Santos Bravos'? What color and genre?

Santos Bravos: We want to present a new fusion of Latin rhythms and global pop sounds. From energetic tracks that make you want to dance to ballads that touch the heart, we plan to make music without being limited to genres. We will create music that is not cliché and surprises people.

Q. If you have a role model, who is it?

Santos Bravos: We respect artists like J Balvin, BTS, and Rosalía. J Balvin is a musician who successfully introduced Latin music to the global market, BTS is a fantastic team that shows influence beyond music through hard work and practice, and Rosalía is impressive as a musician who recreates genres and breaks molds.

Q. What goals do you want to achieve?

Santos Bravos: I want to be a pioneering artist who inspires the next generation to dream bigger. I hope to become a cultural bridge connecting Latin America and the world, and I look forward to seeing audiences singing along in Spanish in huge stadiums.

Q. If you have a message for the fans who have been watching the audition process from the beginning?

Santos Bravos: Every comment and support from the fans made our debut possible. I hope you can be proud of us. This is just the beginning, and there is so much more to show, so please continue to be with us!
