Shim Eun-kyung, Kawai Yumi 'Travel and Days' Stellar Cast Shines!

With the release set for December 10 (Wednesday), the film 〈Travel and Days〉, which has been generating buzz with the confirmed visit of director Miyake Sho on December 1 (Monday), is heightened by the brilliant performances of lead actor Shim Eun-kyung, Kawai Yumi, Takada Mansaku, and Tsutsumi Shin'ichi, creating unique characters that raise expectations. 〈Travel and Days〉 is a dreamlike story about everyday travelers embarking on a journey in the winter of 2025, as the screenwriter 'I', who thought it was the end, unexpectedly spends time at an inn in the snowy country after leaving.

Actor Shim Eun-kyung takes on the role of the protagonist 'I', adding to the spotlight, alongside the beloved youth star Kawai Yumi, known for works like 〈Namibia's Desert〉 (2025), 〈Plan 75〉 (2024), and 〈Riding the Summer Film!〉 (2022), as well as the rising actor Takada Mansaku, who is building a solid filmography with appearances in the drama [Pachinko Season 2] (2024) and 〈The Wandering Moon〉 (2023), and the national actor Tsutsumi Shin'ichi, who has conquered Japanese film, drama, and theater, all contributing to the heightened curiosity with their stellar performances.

Kawai Yumi and Takada Mansaku appear as beachgoers who meet by chance on the beach in the screenplay written by the screenwriter 'I', which features a film within a film. The woman, who stays in a seaside town with a hot sun and blue sea, meets a man on the beach she discovers while walking aimlessly, leaving a strong memory in a short time. Kawai Yumi expressed her infinite affection for 〈Travel and Days〉 and Miyake Sho, saying, "I am happy to be a part of this work. I think it is a masterpiece filled with countless emotions within a small story." The man on the beach, who thought the place was boring, encounters emotions that will last forever through that moment with the unfamiliar woman. Takada Mansaku conveyed his belief in the film, stating, "I was sure it would be a work that would be a turning point for me," igniting the desire to watch. The owner of the old inn where 'I', who is in a slump, is forced to stay during her trip to the snowy village is 'Benzo'.
