Choi Soo-young Becomes the Lawyer of Her Favorite Idol!… 'Idol Eye' to Air in December

Genie TV announced on the 27th that the first broadcast of the new Monday-Tuesday drama 〈Idol Eye〉 is confirmed for December 22. This work is a courtroom romance depicting a special meeting between fans and idols surrounding a murder case.

Choi Soo-young, an actress from the girl group Girls' Generation, stars in the lead role. Choi Soo-young takes on the role of Maeng Se-na, a famous star lawyer who is also an enthusiastic idol fan, attempting a transformation in her acting. The counterpart, idol Doraik, who is identified as a suspect in the murder case, is played by actor Kim Jae-young.

The drama cheerfully unfolds the story of Maeng Se-na taking on the case to prove the innocence of her favorite idol Doraik, who becomes embroiled in a murder case.

The direction is handled by PD Lee Kwang-young, who successfully led 〈My Daughter-in-law〉 and 〈Say It's Love〉.
