'Model Taxi 3' Drama's Success Sparks Webtoon Boom, Views Surge Up to 64 Times

SBS Friday-Saturday drama 〈Model Taxi 3〉 has started airing, and the original webtoon series is showing a rapid increase in views.

Kakao Entertainment announced on the 28th that the weekly views of the KakaoPage 'Model Taxi: Recall' increased by about 64 times compared to the week before the drama aired.

The success of the drama is spreading to other series webtoons. The webtoon 'Model Taxi', corresponding to Season 1, recorded an increase of about 33 times in views during the same period, and the prequel work 'Model Taxi: Born in Black' also showed an increase of about 4 times.

Kakao Entertainment analyzed that this phenomenon is the result of the high quality of the original work combined with the drama's popularity.

KakaoPage's 'Model Taxi' contains an action story about the protagonist Kim Do-gi, who works at a revenge-specialized company, Rainbow Taxi, punishing villains.
