JYP Entertainment Concludes 20th Trainee Recruitment Audition

JYP Entertainment is conducting its final trainee recruitment audition. The company announced on the 2nd that it will hold the JYP Trainee Recruitment 20th Audition starting in Gwangju on January 17 next year, touring five cities nationwide including Daejeon, Busan, Daegu, and Seoul.

The JYP trainee recruitment selection has established itself as a representative talent discovery system in the K-pop industry. It has proven its effectiveness by producing top artists such as 2PM's Jang Wooyoung, TWICE's Nayeon and Jeongyeon, Stray Kids' Seungmin, NiziU's Mako, Xdinary Heroes' Jung Soo, and Kickflip's Kyeo Hoon.

With the conclusion of this 20th audition, the recruitment method will end, and JYP plans to continue discovering K-pop talent through various selection methods, including future global auditions. The company aims to implement a more diversified talent selection strategy in line with the changing music market environment.

Eligibility for audition applicants is for those born between 2008 and before 2016, who can choose one of the five fields they are most confident in: vocal, rap, dance, modeling, or acting.
