Jin Se-yeon and Park Gi-woong to Star in KBS New Weekend Drama 'Love Prescription'

Actors Jin Se-yeon and Park Gi-woong will reunite through KBS 2TV's new weekend drama after 14 years. The broadcaster officially announced on the 2nd that the two actors will star in 〈Love Prescription〉.

Jin Se-yeon will play the role of Princess Ah, who transforms into a clothing designer after giving up her medical license to pursue her dreams. Park Gi-woong will portray Yang Hyun-bin, the general manager of the fashion department who has a crush on Princess Ah.

The drama depicts a romance set against the backdrop of a conflict between two families entangled in a long-standing grudge. The story will unfold as the two protagonists cultivate true love amidst a bitter rivalry.

Jin Se-yeon and Park Gi-woong have met again after a long time since they acted together in the 2012 KBS 2TV drama 〈Gaksital〉. This project is also significant as it marks both actors' first challenge in the weekend drama genre.

The direction is handled by PD Han Joon-seo of 〈The Real One Has Appeared!〉, and the script is written by writer Park Ji-sook, who received acclaim for 〈The Tale of Nokdu〉. 〈Love Prescription〉 will premiere in January next year.
