The meeting of world-renowned master Hirokazu Kore-eda and genius manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto has come to fruition. Megabox has confirmed the domestic release of the live-action film 'Look Back', directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda and based on the original work by Tatsuki Fujimoto, unveiling two teaser posters. Megabox will handle the import and distribution of the live-action film 'Look Back'. The live-action film is based on the manga of the same name by Japan's genius manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto. It tells the beautiful friendship of two girls connected by their passion for drawing, and was also produced as an animation last year, attracting over 300,000 viewers in domestic theaters through a solo release by Megabox, creating a significant buzz.

This live-action film 'Look Back' raises expectations as world-renowned master Hirokazu Kore-eda takes on the script, direction, and editing. Director Kore-eda revealed that he read 'Look Back' in one sitting after coming across it by chance in a bookstore, stating, "I felt the desperate determination of Tatsuki Fujimoto, the original creator, that I wouldn't be able to move forward if I didn't draw this work, and that feeling resonated with me to the point of pain." After receiving a proposal for the live-action adaptation of 'Look Back' from a producer, he stated, "After meeting with the original creator Tatsuki Fujimoto, I decided that I had to do this work." In response, original creator Tatsuki Fujimoto expressed, "If Director Kore-eda is in charge, I couldn't ask for anything more. I am very much looking forward to it," showing his full trust in the director.
Tatsuki Fujimoto is also well-known as the original creator of 'Chainsaw Man: The Movie', which has recorded over 3.35 million viewers, and he has a strong fan base both in Japan and domestically. The live-action film 'Look Back', born from the meeting of two creators who have reached the top in different genres of film and manga, has completed filming and is currently in post-production. Meanwhile, the news of the live-action adaptation of 'Look Back' has drawn attention with the release of two teaser posters. The posters feature impressive scenes of Fujino and Kyomoto walking on a snow-covered path and sitting at a desk drawing manga, further heightening curiosity and anticipation for the work. Megabox plans to continue the box office success of last year's 'Look Back' animation by handling the import and distribution of this live-action film.
