Park Jin-young Donates 1 Billion Won for Sick Children Again This Year... 4 Years of 4 Billion Won Charity

Singer Park Jin-young continues his donation activities for vulnerable sick children both domestically and internationally, contributing 1 billion won from his personal funds this year. Since 2022, he has donated 1 billion won each year, bringing his total donations to 4 billion won over 4 years.

JYP Entertainment officially announced on the 5th that Park Jin-young delivered 200 million won each to Gachon University Gil Medical Center, Konyang University Hospital, and Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, as well as 400 million won to the international relief and development NGO World Vision on the 4th at the JYP headquarters located in Gangdong-gu, Seoul.

The funds donated to World Vision will be used for supporting the treatment costs of sick children in Mexico and Brazil, as well as disaster recovery and child support projects in Asian regions such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, which have suffered significant damage from recent floods and landslides.

At the donation ceremony, Park Jin-young stated, "I hope that all children with infinite potential to change the world can freely dream and grow up healthily, and I hope that the donation will be delivered entirely to where it is most needed."

He continued, "I have two daughters aged 6 and 5. When I meet children receiving treatment, their bright eyes remind me of my daughters, deepening my feelings. I will continue to work hard not only as an individual but also as JYP and all the artists under the company to keep the spirit of sharing alive."

JYP Entertainment, where Park Jin-young serves as the chief producer, also donated 1.714 billion won this year, and the total donations from 2020 to the present amount to 7.92 billion won.
