〈Predator: Badlands〉 has set the highest box office record for the series.

〈Predator: Badlands〉 is the latest installment of the 〈Predator〉 franchise, which has returned to theaters after a long time, telling the story of Deck, who embarks on a hunt to prove his worth on the most dangerous planet in the universe, and Tia, a synthetic human who helps him. The film, which premiered in South Korea on November 5 and in North America on November 7, has currently surpassed a global box office of $177.59 million (based on BoxOfficeMojo's tally as of December 7).

This is the highest grossing in the 〈Predator〉 series. Among the four previous films in the franchise, excluding spin-offs, the 2018 film 〈The Predator〉 had surpassed $160 million. However, unlike the 2018 film, which received harsh criticism, this time the audience's response seems to be positive, making it easier to continue the series.

However, on the contrary, this 〈Predator: Badlands〉 was produced on the largest scale in the franchise with a production cost of $100 million. Although it has been the highest grossing in the series, it seems somewhat distant from breaking even.
