BTS 'Permission to Dance' Music Video Surpasses 700 Million Views

BTS has set another record.

BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) announced on December 11 through their agency that the music video for 'Permission to Dance' has surpassed 700 million views on YouTube. The music video for 'Permission to Dance' was released in July 2021 and exceeded 700 million views around 5 PM on December 10, 2025.

The surpassing of 700 million views for 'Permission to Dance' marks BTS's 10th overall record. Among their music videos, 'Dynamite', 'Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)', 'DNA', 'MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)', 'IDOL', 'FAKE LOVE', 'Butter', 'Blood Sweat & Tears', and 'Save ME' have all surpassed 700 million views. Notably, 'Dynamite' was the first K-pop boy group song to achieve a cumulative view count of 2 billion.

Currently, it is known that all members of BTS have completed their military service and are preparing a new album.
