The American economic magazine Forbes has achieved the remarkable feat of jointly selecting the female leads of the Netflix animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (K-Demon) in the 2025 list of '100 Most Influential Women in the World'.
On the 10th (local time), Forbes announced the 2025 rankings of influential women, which comprehensively evaluated indicators such as wealth, media activity, influence, and scope of activity, placing 'the women of K-Demon' at 100th. This includes the members of the girl group Huntrix, the protagonists of the work, and director Maggie Kang.
Forbes explained the selection background, stating "K-Demon, an animation about a K-Pop girl group fighting demons, was a cultural phenomenon that shone in 2025," and particularly praised the fact that the song 'Golden' sung by Huntrix topped the Billboard main chart last August. This marks the first time a girl group song has reached number one on the Billboard chart since Destiny's Child's 'Bootylicious' in 2001, a record that has stood for about 24 years.

Forbes also released interview content with director Maggie Kang and producer Michelle Wong from the production company Sony Pictures. Forbes stated that the current cultural influence and future growth potential demonstrated by K-Demon were the key reasons for their joint selection as the 100 most influential women in the world.
This year marks the 22nd edition of Forbes' World Women Power 100 selection. The 2025 list saw 17 new entrants, and the total economic power of the selected women was estimated to reach $37 trillion (approximately 5 quadrillion 427 trillion won).
