A group attempting to trade counterfeit tickets for singer G-Dragon's concert in Seoul was caught by the police.

The Guro Police Station announced that at around 1 PM on the 14th, they arrested 6 individuals for attempting to trade G-Dragon concert tickets as counterfeit near Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District on charges of violating the Minor Offenses Act.

According to police investigations, they had pre-arranged a trading location online and attempted to meet near the concert venue to conduct the counterfeit ticket transaction. Among the 6 arrested, 4 were identified as Chinese nationals, and most were in their 20s.

The police imposed a fine of 160,000 won on one individual who was about to depart, while the remaining 5 were referred for summary judgment.

G-Dragon held his world tour 'Ubermensch' encore concert at Gocheok Sky Dome from the 12th to the 14th. The concert was highly popular, leading to fierce competition for ticket reservations, which likely prompted attempts at counterfeit ticket trading.
