〈Zootopia 2〉 has surpassed 5 million viewers, shaking up the Korean box office in 2025.

According to the integrated ticketing system KOBIS, the film 〈Zootopia 2〉 attracted 398,850 viewers on December 14, surpassing 5 million viewers. As of that day, the cumulative audience for 〈Zootopia 2〉 has reached 5.3 million. 〈Zootopia 2〉 is a sequel to 〈Zootopia〉, released in 2016, and it depicts Judy and Nick, now partners, reflecting on their relationship while investigating new incidents.

〈Zootopia 2〉 has secured the 3rd spot in the box office rankings for Korean releases in 2025 after surpassing 5 million viewers. 〈F1: The Movie〉 attracted 5.21 million viewers, placing it 4th, while 〈My Daughter is a Zombie〉 currently holds the 2nd position with 5.63 million viewers. With the release of 〈Avatar: The Way of Water〉 on December 17, the momentum of 〈Zootopia 2〉 may slow down somewhat, but it could still aim for the 2nd place and even challenge the 1st place 〈Demon Slayer: Mugen Train〉 with 5.67 million viewers.
