The First Priest of Korea, Kim Dae-geon, Depicted in the Trilogy Drama 'Young Kim Dae-geon', Airing on tvN from December 24

The trilogy drama depicting the adventures of Kim Dae-geon, the first priest of Korea who opened the door to modern Joseon, 〈Young Kim Dae-geon〉, will premiere on tvN at 5:50 PM on December 24 (Wednesday), 25 (Thursday), and 26 (Friday).

The drama 〈Young Kim Dae-geon〉 is a work that adds scenes and narratives of characters that were not included in the film 〈Birth〉, released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Father Kim Dae-geon's birth, and re-edits the entire structure to fit the TV drama format.

〈Young Kim Dae-geon〉 is a drama that depicts the journey of the curious and action-oriented young Kim Dae-geon. Kim Dae-geon willingly accepts his fate to become the first priest of Joseon and embarks on a study abroad journey to Macau with his seminary classmates Choi Yang-eop and Choi Bang-je. During a time when foreign invasions continue both inside and outside the country and the Opium War has not yet ended, Kim Dae-geon dreams of a new Joseon, traversing land and sea, ultimately paving the way for modern Joseon.
