
In the 1970s, a time of chaos and leap in South Korea, the story of ‘Baek Ki-tae’ (Hyun Bin), a man who aims to rise to the peak of wealth and power by turning the nation into a profit model, and ‘Jang Geon-young’ (Jung Woo-sung), a prosecutor who relentlessly pursues him to the edge, faces monumental events that penetrate the era. 〈Made in Korea〉 has released second press stills containing high-density scenes where desire and madness collide.

The released stills capture the characters moving towards their respective goals amidst a tense confrontation filled with desire and madness. First, the image of ‘Baek Ki-tae’ overpowering his opponent with a sharp gaze on the airplane raises curiosity about what incident has occurred to him. The following stills of ‘Jang Geon-young’ and ‘Oh Ye-jin’ (Seo Eun-soo) chasing a criminal organization heighten expectations for their performance and chemistry. Additionally, the still capturing the moment when ‘Baek Ki-tae’ meets the Japanese Yakuza lobbyist ‘Ikeda Yuji’ (Won Jin-ah) for the first time adds curiosity about how their objectives will intertwine, and their unrestrained play foreshadows unpredictable developments.

In particular, the fierce gaze of ‘Jang Geon-young’ as he stares down ‘Kang Dae-il’ (Kang Gil-woo) reveals his madness in pursuing the criminal organization, while also raising questions about where ‘Kang Dae-il’’s choices will lead. The scene where the boss of the Ikeda organization, ‘Ikeda Osamu’ (Lily Franky), ‘Ikeda Yuji’, and the members gather showcases ‘Ikeda Yuji’’s solid charisma, maintaining a strong presence within the organization, heightening the tension. Finally, the image of ‘Hwang Guk-pyeong’ (Park Yong-woo) tidying his hair in front of a mirror reveals a chilling sense of intimidation, and alongside ‘Baek Ki-tae’ who is climbing to the peak of desire, the presence of ‘Hwang Guk-pyeong’ filled with boiling ambition raises curiosity about the powerful spark he will ignite in the future.

The Disney+ original series 〈Made in Korea〉 captures the full-power confrontation of characters colliding at the end of desire, and will be available exclusively on Disney+ with two episodes released on December 24 (Wednesday), two episodes on December 31 (Wednesday), one episode on January 7 (Wednesday), and one episode on January 14 (Wednesday), totaling six episodes.
