The Netflix series 〈Cashero〉 is making headlines as it reveals heartfelt handwritten year-end greetings from the lead actors and production team just two days before its global release. This work tells the story of an ordinary office worker, Sang-woong, who struggles to save money for marriage and a house, gaining superpowers that grow stronger with the amount of cash he holds.
In the released messages, the actors infused their characters' personalities, sending warm greetings to the viewers. First, Lee Junho, who plays the protagonist Sang-woong, delivered a witty message in line with the 'frugal' setting where he exhibits superhuman strength when holding cash, but the money disappears after using his powers. He mentioned a scene where coins fall from Sang-woong's body, expressing his hope that viewers would be filled with joyful laughter. Kim Hye-jun, who plays Sang-woong's reliable and realistic girlfriend Min-sook, also wished for a warm year-end and urged anticipation for the work.
The greetings from the talented actors portraying members of the Korean Superpower Association also caught attention. Kim Byung-cheol, who plays the lawyer with the unique ability to pass through objects only when drinking alcohol, suggested wrapping up the year with stories alongside the work, while Kim Hyang-gi, who plays Bang Eun-mi, who exhibits psychokinesis by consuming calories, expressed her honor in spending the last month of 2025 with the viewers. Lee Chae-min and Kang Han-na, who portray the villain siblings Jonathan and Joanna, also did not forget to send a refreshing year-end message. The two actors conveyed their hope that families would enjoy the work with a light heart and gain energy from it.
