According to MBN on the 8th, actor and artistic director Song Seung-hwan will appear on the talk show 'Kim Joo-ha's Day and Night' airing on the 10th to share the process of receiving a level 4 visual impairment diagnosis and his current feelings.

◆ "I started to lose my sight after the Olympics ended"

Song Seung-hwan recalled, "I felt my vision deteriorating rapidly for six months after the PyeongChang Winter Olympics ended." He searched for hope not only in Korea but also in famous hospitals in the United States, but the responses he received were despairing. The medical staff gave him a shocking diagnosis: "It seems you will go blind within six months," "There is no special treatment method."

He shared, "On the day I received the level 4 visual impairment diagnosis, I cried all night just once," conveying the feelings of helplessness he felt at that time.

However, Song Seung-hwan did not give up. He said, "After crying, I got up and tried to find what I could do." Currently, he can only vaguely see shapes and is practically unable to see, but he expressed his unique cheerful and positive attitude by saying, "There are many good things about losing my sight.
