The music platform Melon has announced that singer WOODZ has reached the top, creating a 'reverse run myth' in the 2025 annual chart.

According to the '2025 Domestic and Overseas Annual Chart Top 100' released by Melon on the 8th, WOODZ's 'Drowning' has secured the number one spot on the domestic annual chart, surpassing fierce competitors. Released in 2023, this song gained popularity late and demonstrated its ability to climb the charts.

G-Dragon of Big Bang took second place with 'HOME SWEET HOME', featuring Taeyang and Daesung. Following that, Hwang Garam's 'I Am Firefly' ranked 4th, Jo Jae-joon's 'Don't You Know' came in 5th, and 10cm's 'I Hope It Reaches You' landed at 10th.

'Soda Pop' (2nd), 'Your Idol' (4th), 'How It's Done' (6th) swept the top ranks. Additionally, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' 'Die With a Smile' ranked 3rd, and the Japanese animation 'Chainsaw Man' OST 'Iris Out' ranked 9th.
