Group NCT member Doyoung (real name Kim Dong-young) has successfully completed basic military training and revealed the stature of a dignified soldier.

On the 14th, NCT's official SNS posted recent photos of Doyoung after his completion ceremony. In the released photos, Doyoung is seen in a neatly fitted military uniform, saluting the camera with precision. Despite his short haircut, his unchanged visuals and more mature gaze capture attention. Doyoung expressed his joy of completion with healthy and bright energy, sending greetings to his fans.

As news of Doyoung's healthy updates spread, the heartfelt letter he left for fans just before his enlistment has been revisited, touching many hearts. At that time, Doyoung expressed deep gratitude and affection towards the fandom 'Siznies', his members, and the staff.

Meanwhile, on the same day, NCT's official account also shared photos of member Jungwoo (real name Kim Jung-woo), who completed basic military training alongside Doyoung, adding to the fans' delight. Doyoung and Jungwoo will now receive their assignments and continue their military service diligently. NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo enlisted together in December of last year.

This is Doyoung.
I have enlisted.

I think many of you already know, so rather than talking about my enlistment news, I want to share some thoughts and feelings I've had while working until now.

Going back to 2016, when I first released music under the name 'Doyoung', I am truly grateful to everyone who has cared for and liked me for whatever reason until now. Let me talk a bit more about those I am thankful for.

First, to my SM family who have been with me and are still with me. Thank you for making me, who only worked hard on singing, into a wonderful singer. Thanks to all of you who have been with me and are still with me, I have started dreaming bigger dreams. Please don’t leave your jobs and wait for Doyoung! I’ve started dreaming bigger, so please wait.

And to everyone who has worked with me, thank you. To the many music video directors, the writers who took my jacket photos, and for the photos, videos, and content… Thank you to all the directors and writers who have worked with Doyoung in various ways.

Thank you to the songwriters of the many songs I sang as NCT Doyoung. And for the many broadcasts I did as Doyoung, starting from 'Show Champion', 'Lipstick Prince', to 'Inkigayo', 'Master in the House', 'I Live Alone', and the recent Thanks Buddy Club… I am also truly grateful to the many writers and PDs from various broadcasting stations who have been with me.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the two acting projects and two musical works that have given me precious but small experiences. I am also really grateful to all the staff who have been with me, Doyoung.

And to our members, thank you so much. Our team has become a standard of 'friend' in my life. Thanks to you, there have been many moments I could achieve and endure. And the time we spent together helps me endure who I am now. Thank you for being my friend.

I know there were times when I was not proud to carry the name NCT 127. Now that we can discard those unproud times and start anew, I will become prouder.

The center of my life is me, and my work, so there are things I want to protect. I will keep them without giving up.

Finally, I will conclude this letter by thanking all the intangible moments that have been with me. I will spend time dreaming bigger dreams as 'me', created by all moments and all people.
