The global group BTS is set to release their 5th studio album titled 'Arirang' (ARIRANG), named after a representative Korean folk song.

According to their agency Big Hit Music on the 16th, BTS revealed the title of their upcoming 5th studio album, which will be released on March 20, through the fan platform Weverse at midnight.

This 5th album is the first new release from BTS in about 3 years and 9 months since the release of their anthology album 'Proof' in June 2022, and it will include a total of 14 tracks.

BTS has incorporated their identity as a group that started in Korea, the deep-seated longing in their hearts, and profound feelings of love into this album. The title 'Arirang' is described by the agency as a word that symbolically captures the emotions the members wish to express through the new release.

Big Hit Music stated that BTS, ahead of their long-awaited comeback, has naturally focused on the roots and starting point of the team, as well as their inner stories. They also added that the new release deals with universal emotions of longing and deep love, which is expected to resonate widely with fans around the world.

BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour alongside the album release. This tour, starting on April 9 at Goyang Sports Complex, is set to be the largest in K-pop history, taking place across 34 cities with a total of 79 performances.

In particular, this tour will introduce a 360-degree stage to maximize the immersion of the performances, promising fans a more dynamic concert experience.
