NewJeans 'OMG' Surpasses 900 Million Streams on Spotify... First for the Group

The girl group NewJeans has set another significant record. Their title track 'OMG' has become the first song by the group to surpass 900 million streams on the global music platform Spotify.

According to their agency ADOR on the 16th, NewJeans' single album title track 'OMG' surpassed a cumulative play count of 900 million on Spotify as of the 14th. This is the highest record for a single song among all tracks released by NewJeans and marks their first achievement of 900 million streams.

NewJeans currently has a total of 15 songs that have achieved over 100 million streams, including 'Super Shy' and 'Ditto', which each recorded 800 million streams.

Released in January 2023, 'OMG' is the title track of the single album of the same name, combining UK garage rhythms with trap rhythms in the hip-hop R&B genre. Immediately after its release, it topped major domestic music charts and also achieved entry into the US Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart.
