Director Ryu Seung-wan's new spy action film 〈Humint〉 has raised the heart rates of prospective audiences with its unique approach even before its release.
On the 26th, film company NEW announced that the 〈Humint〉 special exhibition, held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Ikansumun Exhibition Hall from the 12th to the 25th, concluded with great support. This exhibition, which expanded the worldview of Korean cinema offline at DDP, a representative cultural space in South Korea, garnered significant attention even before its release as an unprecedented attempt.
This special exhibition captured moments from the cold yet hot Latvian location. In particular, it featured photos taken by actor Park Jung-min and photographer Kim Jin-young, who was in charge of the on-site stills, as well as unreleased making-of videos, providing a special time for audiences waiting for the film.
Meanwhile, 〈Humint〉 is a spy action film depicting a story where individuals with different purposes clash in Vladivostok, submerged in a cold sea of secrets and truths. It is the new work of director Ryu Seung-wan, who has shown the pinnacle of the action genre through films like 〈Mogadishu〉 and 〈Smuggling〉, raising expectations.
The film 〈Humint〉 will be released in theaters nationwide on February 11.
