On the 29th, Netflix announced that the adventure mystery variety show 〈Mystery Investigation Team〉 Season 2 is set to be released on February 27 (Friday). 〈Mystery Investigation Team〉 Season 2 is the next project of Director Jeong Jong-yeon, who has built a unique genre with shows like 〈Devil's Plan〉, 〈The Great Escape〉, and 〈High School Mystery Club〉, promising a deeper mystery and an expanded scale.

In this Season 2, existing team members Lee Yong-jin, John Park, Hyeri, Kim Do-hoon, and Karina return as agents of the secret organization 'XIN', showcasing their more seasoned investigative experience. Particularly noteworthy is the addition of new member Gabi. Fans are eagerly anticipating how Gabi, with her unique energy, will create synergy with the existing members and enrich the character play.

Director Jeong Jong-yeon cited 'expansion of space' as the biggest change for this season. He stated, "To break away from the limited set, we introduced a destructive story from the first episode," and expressed confidence that, with the possibility of active spatial movement, a more three-dimensional and exciting investigation will unfold.
