Kim Hye-jun, First Romantic Comedy Challenge... Casting Confirmed for tvN 'My Favorite Employee'

Kim Hye-jun, who has established herself as a "trustworthy actor" by mastering various genres, is taking on her first romantic comedy.

On the 29th, her agency announced that actress Kim Hye-jun has confirmed her appearance in the new tvN drama 〈My Favorite Employee〉. 〈My Favorite Employee〉 depicts the office growth romance of a new employee, Nam Da-reum, who becomes an employee of her favorite idol. Based on the popular Naver webtoon 〈Our Oppa is an Idol〉, it is produced by Studio Dragon, Studio N, and Anpio, generating high expectations.

In the drama, Kim Hye-jun plays the role of Nam Da-reum, the protagonist who joins her favorite idol's company with dreams of being a "successful fan". Nam Da-reum is a passionate fan who has been devoted to the idol group D.N.X for 11 years, even giving up a coveted position in a large corporation to work at the company where her favorite, Lee Chan (played by Cha Woo-min), is a director. Kim Hye-jun joins the fashion startup 'Apello', led by Kang Ha-gi (played by Kang Hoon), and struggles to become a special presence by Lee Chan's side. Throughout this process, she unintentionally gets entangled with the two men, promising to deliver excitement and laughter to viewers through a series of comical episodes.
