'Number One' Jang Hye-jin, "The restaurant in Busan featured in the movie is where I first dined out"

Actress Jang Hye-jin shared her thoughts on filming a movie in her hometown of Busan.

On the afternoon of the 29th, a press screening and conference for the movie 〈Number One〉 took place at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall. On that day, director Kim Tae-yong and actors Choi Woo-shik, Jang Hye-jin, and Gong Seung-yeon responded to questions from the press.

The movie 〈Number One〉 is set to be released on February 11. It tells the story of Ha-min (Choi Woo-shik), who begins to see a number decreasing every time he eats his mother Eun-sil's (Jang Hye-jin) food, and learns that when the number reaches 0, his mother will die, prompting him to try to protect her.

The movie 〈Number One〉 is set against the backdrop of Busan and Seoul. It features not only the unique foods of the Busan region but also many traditional restaurants in Busan. Jang Hye-jin, an actress from Busan, stated at the press conference, "The restaurant featured in the movie is actually where I first dined out." She reminisced about the enjoyable filming experience, saying, "It felt like the times I used to go out and eat delicious food with friends, now shared with the director, staff, and fellow actors."
