The team behind the film 〈Bedford Park〉 announced on the 1st (Sunday) that it won the 'U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award for Debut Feature' in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 42nd Sundance Film Festival (2026 Sundance Film Festival). The film was produced by the production company Steenum, which is associated with actor Son Seok-koo.

〈Bedford Park〉 had its world premiere on January 24 (Saturday, local time), marking its first official screening for global audiences at the festival. Set against the backdrop of New Jersey, 〈Bedford Park〉 tells the story of Audrey (Choi Hee-seo), who feels isolated as an immigrant and struggles with her identity as an American. After her mother’s car accident, she unexpectedly meets Eli (Son Seok-koo), a former wrestler, and the two begin to heal their wounds and build a deep bond and love for each other.
