Min Hee-jin, the former CEO of Ador, who is currently in a legal battle with HYBE, has officially launched her independent label 'OK Records' (OOAK Records), marking the beginning of her solo journey.
On the 3rd, CEO Min Hee-jin revealed the official channels for 'OK Records' (Instagram, X, website) along with the phrase '20260205 10AM Coming soon' on her personal SNS. This announcement is her first official move in about 1 year and 3 months since leaving Ador in November 2024.
The teaser image released features a sky-blue silk outfit intricately embroidered with bird and flower patterns, along with the phrase 'OK Records 2026'. Notably, when accessing the official website, a unique animation plays without any explanation, showing images of eyes, nose, and mouth that change with a whistle sound, reflecting Min Hee-jin's distinctive artistic direction and worldview.
The label name 'OOAK' is said to carry a dual meaning of 'One Of A Kind' or 'Only One Always Known'. CEO Min, who established the corporation last October and conducted a private audition in December, has recently revealed plans for producing a new boy group in an interview. As such, there is significant industry interest in whether the content to be unveiled on the 5th at 10 AM will provide a concrete roadmap for the rookie group.
Currently, CEO Min is involved in legal disputes with Ador and HYBE, including lawsuits worth hundreds of millions of won. However, separate from these risks, she has formalized her independent brand and declared her 'My Way', leading to public anticipation for the new content that 'OK Records' will showcase.
