
The 76th Berlin International Film Festival, global stars including Michelle Yeoh and Sean Baker gather
As the 76th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) approaches, the eyes of the global film industry are focused on Berlin, Germany. This year's festival has revealed a more glamorous list of attendees than ever before, raising expectations among film fans.
At the opening gala, the director and screenwriter Sean Baker, winner of the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, will take the stage. He will deliver a tribute speech for the actress Michelle Yeoh, who has been selected as the honorary Golden Bear awardee, shining a light on the start of the festival.
The master of film music Max Richter will receive the Berlin Camera Award. The award speech will be delivered by the Oscar and Golden Globe-winning director Chloé Zhao, who collaborated with him on the recent film 〈Hamnet〉, adding significance to the event. This year's international jury chair is the renowned master Wim Wenders, representing Germany and leading the festival.
The stars who will walk the red carpet through the premiere screenings are also impressive. Rose, along with Juliette Binoche, Tom Courtney, Florence Hunt (Queen at Sea), Isabelle Huppert (The Blood Countess), and Ethan Hawke (The Weight) will be visiting Berlin. Additionally, Neil Patrick Harris and Bella Ramsey (Sunny Dancer) have also confirmed their attendance.
Hollywood stars will also be present. Sam Rockwell, Juno Temple, and Zazie Beetz (Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die) will join Channing Tatum, Gemma Chan (Josephine), and John Turturro (The Only Living Pickpocket in New York) to meet with the audience.
In addition, numerous global stars including Pamela Anderson, Amanda Seyfried, Charlie XCX, Rupert Grint, Anders Danielsen Lie, and Lars Eidinger are on the attendance list, adding to the excitement of the festival.
