Kim Ji-hoon Joins Coupang Play's 'Infidelity Is Not the Problem Right Now'... Becomes Kim Hye-soo's Husband

Actor Kim Ji-hoon has confirmed his appearance in the Coupang Play series 〈Infidelity Is Not the Problem Right Now〉 and continues his unstoppable rise to fame.

His agency Big Picture ENT announced on the 5th, "Kim Ji-hoon, who has shown transformative acting that surpasses limits with each project, will appear in the new Coupang Play series 〈Infidelity Is Not the Problem Right Now〉. He is expected to showcase a strong presence in this work as well."

〈Infidelity Is Not the Problem Right Now〉 is a black comedy that depicts a series of explosive collisions as a popular influencer couple, who have sold a happy family image, and a neighboring doctor couple embroiled in a messy divorce lawsuit become entangled in an unbearable secret that makes even infidelity seem trivial. It is a collaboration between director Lee Chang-hee, known for his stylish direction in works like 〈Others Are Hell〉 and 〈Murderer Is Awkward〉, and writers Jung Eun-kyung and Park Soo-rin.

In the drama, Kim Ji-hoon plays Jae-hong, the husband of Kyung-hee (Kim Hye-soo), who lives in the shadow of his successful wife. He is expected to firmly hold the center of the story with overwhelming acting as he matches his performance with Kim Hye-soo in a narrative where desires between characters escalate to extremes.

Last year, Kim Ji-hoon enjoyed a peak period, appearing in major dramas and variety shows. He starred in significant works such as SBS 〈Gwigung〉, Amazon Prime 〈Butterfly〉, Netflix 〈Everything Will Be Achieved〉, Tving 〈Dear X〉, and tvN 〈Annoying Love〉. He also showcased a wide spectrum of talent in the Netflix variety show 〈Crime Scene Zero〉.

Thanks to these achievements, he swept the '2025 SBS Acting Awards' Best Male Performance in the Fantasy category, the '45th Golden Cinematography Awards' Best Acting Award in the Drama category, and the '2025 Seoul International Film Awards' Best Acting Award in the OTT category. In January, he also received the Multi-Entertainer Award at the '2026 Korea First Brand Awards', solidifying his position as a representative actor for 2026.
