The South Korean short film 〈Rude Dawn〉 has been officially invited to compete in the 48th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France, known as 'The Cannes of Short Film Festivals.' Director Park Hae-o and actress Kang Aesim traveled to Clermont-Ferrand, France to attend the official screening and meet with the audience.
〈Rude Dawn〉 depicts the challenging reality of a 60-year-old designated driver, Young-ok (Kang Aesim), who steps out into the streets during the late dawn when everyone is asleep. Kang Aesim, a prominent figure in the South Korean theater scene and recently recognized worldwide for her role in the Netflix series 〈Squid Game〉, has received praise for expressing the character's inner depth with a calm gaze and restrained performance.

Meanwhile, the 48th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival is being held from January 30 to February 7 in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
