The Netflix series 'Squid Game' has once again proven its global popularity by winning 6 awards at the '2025 Gold Derby TV Awards', a major American pop culture awards ceremony. This recognition includes the award for Outstanding Drama Series, as well as remarkable achievements in acting, elevating the status of 'Squid Game'.

According to the prediction media Gold Derby, 'Squid Game' won the award for Outstanding Drama Series, and actor Lee Jung-jae, who plays the lead role of Seong Gi-hun, received the honor of Best Actor in a Drama. Additionally, Kang Ae-sim, who plays Jang Geum-ja, won Best Supporting Actress, and Choi Seung-hyun (Big Bang's T.O.P), who played Thanos, won Best Supporting Actor, acknowledging their acting skills. Actor Gong Yoo, who made a special appearance as 'Ddakji Man', also won the award for Best Guest Actor, and 'Squid Game' achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Ensemble Award of the Year.
