Based on the novel by Park Min-kyu, the film 〈Pavan〉 tells the story of three people who, having closed their hearts, become light for each other and face life and love. It is set to be released on February 20, with the main poster and trailer unveiled on February 6.
The main poster captures a sensory image of youth, featuring Mi-jeong (Go Ah-sung), Yo-han (Byun Yo-han), and Kyung-rok (Moon Sang-min) taking a selfie together with bright smiles. Their expressions evoke curiosity about the influences they will have on each other as their encounters unfold, and the effect of colorful light spreading evokes the diverse aspects of dazzling youth, heightening anticipation.
The main trailer, which piques viewers' curiosity with the phrase "All love is a misunderstanding," depicts Kyung-rok, who is drawn to the uniquely atmospheric Mi-jeong he encounters one day, and Yo-han, who cautiously advises him. It captures the sweet youth melodrama and the bittersweet growth stories of those carrying different wounds. 〈Pavan〉 poses questions about life and love that everyone has forgotten in the harsh reality.
Directed by Lee Jong-pil, 〈Pavan〉 stars Go Ah-sung, Moon Sang-min, and Byun Yo-han, and will be exclusively released on Netflix on February 20.
