Using the roads of LA as his office, 'The Lincoln Lawyer', Mickey Haller is now sitting not in the defense seat but in the defendant's seat.

According to Netflix on the 6th (Korean time), the popular courtroom drama 'The Lincoln Lawyer' Season 4 was released simultaneously worldwide on the 5th. This season deals with the worst crisis in the series, where the protagonist Mickey Haller (played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) is arrested as a murder suspect.

◆ "There is a client's body in my car trunk"

Season 4 is directly connected to the shocking ending of the previous season. After the body of the con artist client 'Sam Scales' is found in Mickey's trunk, he is arrested in the act. Based on Michael Connelly's sixth novel 'The Law of Innocence', this season depicts Mickey defending himself while fighting against a massive conspiracy that has trapped him. Showrunner Ted Humphrey stated, "The enemies Mickey has built over the past three seasons are moving to take him down," and warned, "It will be the most emotional and desperate fight yet."

There is also good news that fans have been waiting for. Mickey's first ex-wife Maggie (Neve Campbell), who had a reduced role in Season 3, returns as a regular cast member. As a former prosecutor, she will play a crucial role in proving Mickey's innocence by teaming up with Lona (Becki Newton) and Cisco (Angus Sampson). Additionally, new faces like Cobie Smulders join to heighten the tension of the drama.

Ahead of the release of Season 4, Netflix officially confirmed the production of Season 5 on January 28. Season 5 is based on the seventh novel 'Resurrection Walk' and will begin filming in LA starting in March. Mickey Haller's engine is expected to keep running even in 2026.
