MONSTA X's I.M Enlists in the Army... "I Will Return Healthy"

I.M (real name Lim Chang-kyun), a member of the group MONSTA X, enlisted as an active duty soldier in the army on the 9th, beginning his military service.

According to his agency Starship Entertainment, I.M entered the army training center on this day to start basic military training and will serve as an active duty soldier thereafter.

Since debuting as a member of MONSTA X in 2015, I.M has continued various musical activities, including releasing a solo album in 2021 while participating in group activities. Recently, he participated in the MONSTA X World Tour 'THE X: NEXUS' held at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, where he had a chance to meet with fans.

Before enlisting, I.M shared his thoughts with fans through his agency. "I was so happy to be able to greet MONBEBE (the fandom) more closely as we started the world tour recently," he said, adding, "I will complete my military service in good health and return, so I hope MONBEBE takes care of themselves both physically and mentally until we meet again."

With I.M's enlistment, MONSTA X will have completed military service for all its members. Starting with leader Shownu in 2021, the members enlisted sequentially, leading to a hiatus in group activities, but they resumed team activities last May and met with fans again.
