As the Lunar New Year approaches, the theater market has been reshaped into a two-horse race between director Jang Hang-jun's 〈The King's Warden〉 and director Ryu Seung-wan's 〈HUMINT〉.
According to the integrated ticket sales network on the 13th, 〈The King's Warden〉 attracted over 83,000 viewers the previous day, securing the top spot at the box office. It recorded a revenue share of 35.9%, and since its release on the 4th, it has accumulated over 1.365 million viewers.
Director Ryu Seung-wan's 〈HUMINT〉 came in second with over 81,000 viewers, closely competing with the leader. With a revenue share of 35.5%, 〈HUMINT〉 had previously topped the box office on its opening day, the 11th, so a change in rankings cannot be ruled out.

Starring Choi Woo-shik and Jang Hae-jin, 〈Number One〉 gathered over 13,000 viewers, ranking third, while 〈Choir of God〉, featuring Park Si-hoo and Jung Jin-woon, attracted around 8,000 viewers, remaining in fourth place. Released on December 31 of last year, 〈Choir of God〉 tells the story of a fake praise group from North Korea's foreign currency earning organization, and it has surpassed 1.15 million cumulative viewers, maintaining a steady box office performance.
The film adaptation of the novel starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, 〈Wuthering Heights〉, attracted over 6,000 viewers, securing fifth place.
As of 9 AM that day, the ticket reservation rates showed 〈The King's Warden〉 in first place with 38.5%, and 〈HUMINT〉 in second place with 31.9%, indicating a strong competition. The number of reserved viewers is approximately 234,000 for 〈The King's Warden〉 and 194,000 for 〈HUMINT〉.
